     Here is the agenda for the  our next meeting: 

1) Pyramid box - assembly of box - bring 5 completed sides,waxed cord,toothpick

2) Group Mosaic Project - bring completed triangle (with name and date)

3) Scarab - constructiion of a scarab pendant

        In ancient Egypt the rising of the sun was known to be the work of the God Kephri,a male figure with the head of a scarab.The scarab represented the sacred cycle of renewal of life and the power of the sun.It was the most important amulet with protective powers and was worn as ornamentation.

Materials to bring:

-conditioned clay (a ball the size of the width of a quarter coin)

-blade

-needle tool or thin knitting needle

-x-acto knife

-roller

-index card
